[Title of City Desk 175 newsletter] 175th Radio Research Company, Bien Hoa, Vietnam,

A Co-worker and friend, Dale Rexroth, who went swimming shortly after returning to the world and drowned....sigh!
1971
(Memorial Day 2000)

Welcome to City Desk 175. This site uses primary source material from my collection of stuff. Currently, I am concentrating on images and photos in the GALLERY and attempting to answer the questions: "What did the 175th look like?" and "What did the stuff look like?" I have also listed names of members of the 175th. Please use the guest book or message board to submit your name for the list either as a member or a friend of the 175th.

When completed, this web site will contain 50 to 100 pages of "The City Desk" written by two cryptanalysts who became journalists in early 1971. This page will eventually include info on: the 199th Light Infantry Brigade, the 856th Radio Research Detachment and the 547th Signal Troop from Australia. All contributions on those units will be welcomed. Thanks

This weekend, I watched a lot of Memorial Day coverage on C-Span hoping to see the 199th LIB reunion ceremony at the Wall. I missed it but I did get to see Chris Noel again, still a beautiful lady

Today brought so many questions to my mind. Mostly the questions are about nostalgia and mourning for the past and the dead. My goal in this page is to help both the nostalgia and the mourning.
I have a few more image collections to post and some new content from the City Desk to format and upload before I get aggressive about promoting the site. I want to start my links page shortly so if you have any suggestions, please send them to citydesk175@compuserve.com. Thanks.
