Awards Page
These are some of the awards that I have received
most of these are very rare and I feel privileged to display them

I have been back to visit your page and read all about Allen Lloyd and Doc Watson. Reading their stories brought tears to my eyes as I tried to imagine what you must have had to endure all these years.

It is my firm belief that if we continue the fight we will bring them home.

Daisey, This award means more to me than you can imagine.  Your site is one of the three that have inspired me to try my hand at making a Web Site.  An award from you, is high praise, indeed!

CERTIFICATE #0030
Please accept this Award from me. I won't reveal the "Criteria" for the award, but in a "nutshell" a site HAS to be "BEST" at what they do.

Thank you for showing the world the real people in MACV-SOG;
just normal, everyday, American MEN!!!!

Jack, I am truly touched.  This award is a complete surprise!  Your site has taught me so much about web design.  I am proud to display such a rare award!

I was very impressed by your site.  You have put a lot of work into it and created an outstanding web site.  With this in mind, I am pleased to present you with the Pentagon Quality Site Award.  8/14/98
Thank you Thomas.  I am very proud to display this award.

The Blue Knight Award cannot be applied for any longer.  It is rarely issued and is based upon merit alone.    8/21/98
Ron,  This award has a very deep meaning for me. When I retired from the Army, in '87, I too became a cop.  I served with the Fayetteville, NC Police Dept., for several years.   This is an honor that I will cherish!

I would be honored if you would accept my Hero of the Meadow award.
8/21/98
Gunny, This is entirely unexpected!  What an honor!  I'll post this award tonight.

I would like to award you with my Top Vet Site Award as a small token of my appreciation for your service to your country and for your continued presence on the web with a rest stop where our brothers and sisters can drop in and feel right at home.

This is totally unexpected but, very welcomed.  I will be proud to display your award and to have a link to your dedication site.  I'm doubly pleased to have that site dedicated to another member of the Stewart family.

I've been highly impressed with your site.  You've done in a few weeks what it took me a year to do.  I can tell by the quality of your approach and early-on materials that you are, without question, going to be the definitive SOG site of the veteran's community for the foreseeable future.  I've only awarded six of
these  to the real veteran pioneers on the web.
