You have never lived, until you have almost died.
For those who fight for it, life has a flavor
That the protected will never know!

This page is dedicated to all of the men that served in MACV-SOG but, it is especially dedicated to two of my "LOST" teammates:

Allen (Baby Jesus) Lloyd and Ronald (Doc) Watson

MACV-SOG was a classified unit during the Vietnam War. The unit's history and battle record was declassified in the mid '80s. I served in the OP-35 department of this unit specifically, Recon Company CCN
(Command and Control North).

The missions of CCN, were by far, the most hazardous missions in all of SOG. We ran strategic reconnaissance operations, across the border, on the Ho Chi Minh Trail. On February 18th 1971, while serving on RT (Recon Team) Intruder, I lost two of my teammates, Doc Watson and Allen Lloyd. To read their story, please click on the crossed arrows.

Remember: Vietnam will not be over until all of our POWs and MIAs come HOME!
These two candles are burning for my two lost teammates.
