Travels With Curly -- Maryland

Curly arrived in Maryland on 12 January, 2001. Even though the weather was warmer than usual for this time of year, it was still chilly. Curly joined his new buddies -- Bubbles and his cousin Caliope -- on top of Fred's monitor. It's nice and warm there and he gets to play computer games.

A couple of days later it rained, so all of his new friends got together on the couch to watch cartoons. If you have trouble seeing everyone, here is a larger version of the picture.

In the spring of 2002 Curly was visited by his cousin Harvey. They went to the farm where they got to ride Miss Debbie's horse, Zipper.

After they got home, they played in the yard and climbed a tree. Curly told Harvey that he could see his house from up there.

They went inside and Dot gave Curly a bath while he watched TV.

A few weeks later Fred and his parents visited some relatives in West Cape May, New Jersey. It was too cold to go on the beach, so Curly had his picture taken by the entrance to the park.

On Presidents' Day weekend in 2003 we had a big blizzard. Curly helped to dig out the driveway, then he climbed on top of a mound of snow and claimed it.
