Sure, just about everyone in America has a dog, but only the luckiest of owners shares their home with a Boxer!
And if you have more than one ... life is just that much better!
Welcome to the Guthrie's Page, featuring Slade, Raven, Marble, Ripley and Belle, the Boxers who share their lives, their home .. and their couch!
We live in Yuma, Arizona.

first, the Boxer quickly becomes animated, turning its mooshie lips up in a sloppy grin, waving it's front paws in the air to capture everyone's attention and shaking it's rear end for all it's worth - simply because the Boxer's tail is cropped short and needs to make up for the lack of wagging!
But the Boxer may not be fun and games for everyone. "Down!" and "No!" are two of the first words every Boxer learns and these intelligent dogs become bored very quickly. Then they seek to entertain themselves with the foam found inside the couch cushions, the fluffy Kleenex in the trash can or the leaves of your favorite potted plant.
But it's impossible for most Boxer lovers to stay mad for long because the dogs truly seem to be sincere in their apology for the mess - until they realize they are out of the doghouse with you. then, it's time to jump back up, butt wagging for the kidney-bean dance!
Boxers are very people-oriented dogs. They love to go with you where ever you go and don't like to be left behind. Despite their size, they are indoor couch potatoes that hate to watch their masters from the backyard. They would rather be curled up at your feet while you surf the Internet or curled up in your lap when you're watching TV.
But all the while Boxers will make you smile, make you laugh and make you glad that you have such a loyal, exuberant creature by your side.
