On the radio WMZQ-FM 98.7: October 1999

Our pal Ed Rodriguez at WMZQ-FM 98.7, Washington's Country Station has been allowing Mom to call in bi-weekly and record an advertisement for Oldies But Goodies Cocker Rescue's adoption shows. So the Board of Oldies But Goodies presented Ed with a sweatshirt to express their gratitude. A good portion of the Alexander family (including Mickey) was there for the live broadcast. Mickey did very well in his first stint as "Cocker Ambassador". He now travels to schools and scout troops to do public appearances on behalf of other rescue and shelter dogs.

	November 1998 The family all got together to learn 2nd grade spelling words one evening. "Dad's" coaching ... It says "special" on the chalkboard, how appropriate! Buddy's in the foreground, Checkmate is right up in the middle of the learning process.
