Bare Belly

Rescued, September 6, 1998

Bare Belly was named by her original owner. He gave her that name because she had a "bare belly" when she was a puppy. Bare's owner moved into an apartment that did not allow dogs so she was going to go to a shelter. The shelter contacted Pat Cassel, Keeshond Rescue Volunteer. Pat had never fostered, only placed, a rescued Keeshond before so she contacted me.

Bare is a wonderful dog. She is 5 years old, spayed, housebroken, affectionate, current on vaccinations, well groomed, and gets along well with children and other animals. I didn't think I would have a hard time placing her. Pat picked her up from her former owner on Sunday, September 6, 1998, and met me halfway between our homes on Labor Day, September 7, 1998. I mentioned Bare at lunch one day at work, and a coworker was very interested. On Saturday, September 12, Bare went to her new home with Connie & Bill Imler. The Imler's are so excited and grateful to have her. They think she is just wonderful. Bare has found her loving and caring forever home.
