Chance
Chance was found wandering the streets in the Lancaster, PA area. He was taken to the shelter where he remained for about a week until Keeshond Rescue picked him up. |

At first look, I wasn't sure he was a full-blooded Keeshond. All the tell tale signs were there though slight from his condition. He had very light penciled spectacles, a tail that curved over his back when he would hold it up, and cream legs. Other than that he looked like a deer fawn. Almost no coat to speak of, except for a little tuft of fur behind his ears and on his rear. |

Chance was a sick little boy. He was undernourished and dehydrated. After receiving veterinary care he was ready to be adopted. I had a wonderful home approved in a rural area outside of Altoona, PA but couldn't find a younger Keeshond for the family until Chance. I told them what I knew about his background and condition, and they decided they wanted to give him a chance. Hence, his name. Chance turned out to be a sweet little boy, who loved his crate and toys, and had no accidents in the house while I fostered him. As you can see above, he has turned into one handsome little Keeshond. Special thanks to the Jackson family for giving him a new and wonderful life. |
