Hi! My name is Spirit! I live with my mum, my Nana, and my 7 year old sis Nikki (oh yeah, and 10 year old sister Torie and 2 cats Chance and Penguin) in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. I got my name because even when I was a pup, if I got away I would run and run. But I can't help it, Im bred for running. Mum understands that, so when I do get away she doesn't even yell anymore, although I do sometimes get "grounded" when she catches me. Mum sometimes calls me Ed, the name of the hyena in the Lion King Movie, cause she says I act like him alot. (He's a little goofy)

I am A Siberian Husky. We were originally bred over 1000 years ago in the Northern Artic region of Siberia by a tribe known as Chukchi. Mostly we were used to pull sleds because of our high tolerance for cold temperatures and high energy levels (as any husky owner can attest to!) Alot of us are still used for sledding today, and although I'm not, I sometimes forget that and try to pull mums arm off when she walks me (sorry mum). My favorite things in the world are:
1. My mum
2. My tennis ball and stuffed bunny
3. Apples (any color, I love em!)
4. Aggravating Nikki, Torie and the cats!
5. WALKIES!!
6. Car rides
Mum says I am a special pup because I have something called epilepsy. My brain goes haywire every once in a while and causes me to have seizures. I had my first one in February '99. I don't remeber much when I have one, but it really scares mum, nana and the other dogs! I have gone almost 3 months now though without having one thanks to my pills, and a group mum found on the net called epil-K9. It is a resource group for people who have pups with epilepsy. They have helped us ALOT, and we have alot of friends now!
