LOST
COCKATIEL - BELOIT, WISCONSIN (NEAR ILLINOIS BORDER)
On August 10, 2001 we lost Rusty who is a male Pied Cockatiel.  He is yellow in color, bright orange cheeks and gray tipped wings. Rusty is approximately 8 years old.  He says a few phrases and sings...his favorite being the cuckoo clock. He prefers women over men, and while he doesn't like fingers, he is loving and will fly on your shoulder or chest. Rusty also gives kisses and plays peek-a-boo. He was last seen in Beloit, Wisconsin.

He flew away after his cage was bumped which loosened his door. I had secured him in his cage and placed him on the porch, as I normally do when I am doing throughout house cleaning to prevent him from inhaling any possibly harmful chemicals. My 5 year old tripped and fell on his cage, loosening the latch on his door. I live in Wisconsin but just 3 miles from the Illinois state line. If you receive any information that closely resembles Rusty I would appreciate it if you would contact me immediately.  Please contact the Cousin Family at (608) 363-8787  Posted 8/22/01

LOST BIRD
Missing African Grey in Metamora
My CAG, Kalmack flew out my door tonight, 7/9/99, around 8:00pm. I did not see what way he flew away. I live in Metamora, Illinois and my phone number is 309-444-8853. He has some identifiable patterns of speech and makes certain noises. I am really worried as we are supposed to get some bad storms tonight. There is not much around me but farms so I don't know if he got lost in a corn field or flew to the woods that are about 10 acres away. We have lots of hawks so that has me really concerned as well. He is unbanded (per vets request). EMail at BIRD911@PARROTTALK.COM
