...but surely even humans wouldn't make a book about Ratty Rupert the Rat, who wore a hat, and poison rats under the floorboards at the same time. Would they?
A rat's sense of taste is so acute, it can detect as little as two parts per million of poison hidden in food.
My apologies to the owner of RatWorld.com; I created this web page (and the banner) before searching the Internet for an already existing Rat World. : ) This is a web page where you can come with all your rat queries, and hopefully you will find what you're looking for! I've been doing some major re-modeling, so many of the information pages are just getting set up. My most recent addition is the "Bringing Home a New Rat" page you'll see to the left. Be sure to check out my "Why Rats Make Great Pets" page if you have any doubts as to why rats make great pets. By the time this page is finished, I hope to have much more information on rats, as well as pet-related web page links available for more information. Feel free to suggest a web site or topic to be discussed on this page. Having created this Web site many years ago, I have since fallen out of rat ownership due to several circumstances, including a no-pets lease, and a recently developed tendency to move across large distances often. However, I hope that what I created all those years ago can still be of use, or entertainment, to you.
