Classes and Weights Senior Bucks and Does - 4.5 pounds to 6.5 pounds with and ideal weight of 5.5 pounds for bucks and 6 pounds for does. Senior animals must be over 6 months Junior Bucks & Does - animals not over 6 pounds and not over 6 months. Mini Lops are to be posed with the toes of their front feet even with their eyes. Their back feet should be positioned so that the toes are in the middle of the body. |

The body of a Mini Lop is to be massive and well muscled. The shoulders should rise to a high point in the middle of their body, then gradually slope off, giving the rabbit an even appearance when viewed from the side. There should be a slight taper from the hindquarters to the shoulders, again giving a well balanced look. They are a compact type rabbit. Does are allowed to have a dewlap, however, it should balance with the body. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The head of a Mini Lop is to be very well developed, especially in bucks. It should be set close to the shoulders and have a slight curve from the base of the crown to the nose. The head should balance well with the rest of the body. |

Ears should be well placed and lop well, causing them to lie pependicular to the ground. They should lie as close to the cheeks as possible with the opening of the ear toward the head. When viewed from the front the ears and crown should resemble a horshoe shape. the ears are to be well rounded. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
There are seven groups of varieties in the Mini Lop breed. They are Agouti Group, Self Group, Shaded Group, Pointed White Group, Ticked Group, Broken Group, and Wide Band Group. Within the Agouti Group the recognized colors are: Chinchilla, Chestnut Agouti, Opal, and Lynx. Within the Self group the recognized colors are: Black, Blue, Chocolate, and White. Within the Shaded group there are: Frosted Pearl, Sable, Sable Point, Seal, Smoke Pearl, and Tortoise. Within the Pointed White group there is only 1 color and that is Pointed White. Within the Ticked Group there are: Silver/Silver Fox and Steel. Within the Broken Group there are: Broken and Tri-colored.
