or yellowish-brown outercoat, a dark grey undercoat, webbed hind
feet, long scaly tail, and strong teeth.

subsisting chiefly on freshwater plants.

- They have been bred for fur in several
European countries. By escaping from these fur farms, coypus
have colonised new areas all over the world, and are sometimes
considered pests because of the damage they do.
