SEAHORSES
Seahorses are elegant sea creatures. They swim in an upright position by beating their dorsal fin (on their back) 20 to 35 times a second.
Seahorses can be found in corals, sea grasses and seaweeds and hang on to plants with their tails.
It is the male seahorse which gives birth, not the female.
