SPINY ANTEATERS
There are 2 species of spiny anteater or echidna.
The long-nosed spiny anteater is the largest spiny anteater and grows up to 77cm (30.25 in).
Both species are covered with coarse hairs, and their backs are set with spine.
Spiny anteaters have 5 digits all with strong claws, on both hind, and forefeet.
