YAKS

Wild yaks may be as tall as a man, but tame yaks are about size of a European cow.

A coat of long, ragged hair, which reaches almost to the ground, and an undercoat of short, dense fur helps the yak to survive the freezing winters in its Himalayan home.

Yaks live at an altitude of 6100m (14000 - 20000ft)
