Construction Log - Aug 20th to Aug 26th

It was another busy week at our homesite. All the rough-ins are complete and have passed inspection by the Town of Cottage Grove. We met with our builder Thursday to go over the rough-in work before the insulators began their work. With a few minor exceptions, everything looked fine. The insulator completed his work by the end of Friday. On Friday, the drywall was dropped off at our home. Things were busy for us as well off the home site as well. We met with our cabinet builder - Marshalltowne Millwork. We went over the details for our cabinets and bookcases. They are scheduled to be installed in mid-September. We also met with our friend Steve at Drexel Interiors to go over some details on our flooring. This coming week, the drywallers will begin their work.
