Construction Log - Sept 17th to Sept 29th

During the weekend, the flooring crew finished laying the wood laminate flooring. Once the flooring was complete, the electricians were back to finish the electrical work and the trim carpenters began their work. By the end of the week, most of the electrical work was done and the cabinets were in place and most for the windows were cased. So far the week of the 23rd, the cabinet doors have been put into place and the countertops have mostly been installed. Outside, the drilling contractor finished their work. The the excavator came back and began running the well  laterals for our house and our two neigbors to the north. Once we have water to the house, the mortar can be mixed for the brickwork and the final plumbing work can be done. We met with a representative of the landscaping company to review the landscaping plan. They provided us with a blueprint we can implement in phases. To srart with, we will do some plantings in the front of the house and some trees to screen the view of the neighbors house. The plumbers began their work the week of the 23rd. They have set the toilets and have bebun installing the sinks and faucets. Soon they will have the shower door in for the master bath and will set the soaking tub into place..Overall, the house is really coming along. You can get a real sense of how everything is going to look finished now.
