Well I never really intended on bringing home another one - especially not a little one. But stuff happens!
This is Sydney. She joined our family on December 19, 2004.
Having a kitten again is really funny.
You forget the terrible things they can get into.
The only other kitten I had was Rufus and now I am remembering what a bad little kitten he could be.
Here she is enjoying her first Christmas wrappings

Funny, these are both things Rufus did as a kitten too.
Rufus is trying to make friends but she has been a little afraid of him.
Pandora hates her, but she also will play with her, so I'm really not sure what she is thinking.
I just keep trying to reassure her that everything is okay.
Lucy is having a ball with her. It's like seeing a midget play with Godzilla.
Sydney is very opinionated for one so small and doesn't like to be picked up most of the time.
You also cannot just put her in your lap and expect her to stay.
She is running immediately and going to play with her toys.
She has, however, come and gotten in my lap on her own and gone to sleep
so I have high hopes she will eventually be a lap cat like Rufus is.
Here are a couple more of Sydney during her first week in our home.
She has settled herself very nicely into our family and
I feel everything is going to work out just fine.
Sydney, or Syd, as she prefers to be called, has settled in nicely.
She is almost 8 months old now and she's having a blast in our home.
Her favorite playmate is Pandora.
Her favorite target to bother is poor Rufus.
She does bad kitty things from time to time
but she is still a lot of fun to have around.

Now at 11 months old Syd has almost become
the alpha cat in the house. She is
constantly picking on Rufus who in turn
picks on Pandora. What brats they are (smile).
Her latest game is to beat on my blinds and run.
She knows I will squirt her with water and
she seems to enjoy it.
I guess this is considered her
Terrible Twos - lol.

Now Syd is over 3 years old. Time sure flies.
She and Pandora are friends now.
They chase each other around and play.

She's still a brat and she is top cat in the house now.
She sleeps more but she is still
always looking for ways to get into trouble.
She loves to open my kitchen and bathroom
cabinets and get inside and hide.
