Theme to "Forrest Gump"
"One of the things most beguiling to cat lovers is the
the intractability of a cat... Its refusal to surrender
the least part of its spiritual independence."
Marguerite Steen
I have 3 wonderful felines who I share my home.
They are awesome! They are always there when I need them
and even there when I don't. They are a delight to have
around the house...
Muffin is a 5 year old mixed breed calico. She is as
gentle as a newborn baby and is as soft as cotton. She loves
to sit in a warm lap and purr herself to sleep. She makes
friends wherever she goes. She is the sweetest, calmest cat
that ever was. (especially when she has to put up with Bubba
pouncing on her.) I have to give her a plus for that one!
Bubba is a rambunctious ball of fur, who loves to
explore. His favorite place is in the middle of my bed and
he has nothing better to do then torment muffin. For a 1 year
old baby he can shure charm you out of a bad mood. If muffin
has had enough, She will go away and bubba's next target is me!
He will get into anything!
Bubba,(grey) and his Bro's
Mittens is also a 1 year old and is the quitetest
of the bunch. She only comes alive when its time for lunch!
Still, she has grace and proper behavoir. She is the only
one of the 3 that I have gotten from the animal shelter.
She is sweet and her favorite place is laying on a high
shelf to where she can get a good veiw of every thing thats
happening. One time one of my friends quoted" she is so
still! She looks as if she is dead!"
This is a maneki, in Japan, Calico cats are
considered good luck. They set little maneki in their
door way to bring the family good fortune.
