"My name is Bubbles, soon to be Snickers. I was adopted today by a really
sweet lady and her daughter. She even adopted another kitty to be my
friend so I would not be lonely. A really nice lady named Alice at
Animal Welfare League helped me and my 2 littermates be released to
A.D.O.P.T. (Animals Deserving Of Proper Treatment) and I got to go all
the way out to DeKalb (where I met my kitty friend) to see a doctor.
My litter mates and I were very sick, in fact, my little sister didn't make it out that night with us. A doctor at VetsMart took us in as fosters and tried very hard to make us all well. Unfortunately, only I made it through. She told me she was sorry and that someday we'll be together again - but that is a long, long, LONG time from now hopefully!
Anyways! I'm in my new home tonight, but Pat from ADOPT promised to send this on to you to say thank you to all the people who helped me on the way. Maybe if people knew how sad and often fatal it can be for unwanted kittens, they would have spayed my mom and neutered my dad. But thank you for giving me a chance and doing what you do."
