Heartworm Positive Saint Bernard

This sweet girl doesn't have a name yet. She came in as a stray from South Holland, Illinois, and unfortunately, her owners did not come looking for her. She is so rigidly housebroken that she will absolutely not go to the bathroom in her cage. She is so gentle and lovable, it is hard to believe that someone wouldn't be looking for their beloved pet. When she was prepared for adoption, it was discovered that she is heartworm positive. She is young and healthy, so with treatment, she will quickly recover and have a second chance at life. Saint Bernard rescue has been non-responsive, and we would like to fully treat her and adopt her out ourselves. To do so, we need help with the following:

DonationsWe have raised enough funds- thanks to all that helped!
Funds to cover her medical bills and food costs when she is in a foster home.

Foster homeWe have a foster volunteer!
A volunteer to care for her for the two months while she is treated and certified free from heartworm. The shelter will provide all supplies and medical treatment, the foster home only needs to provide the love.
