Hello,
my name is Biscuit. I live in South Africa with my mother, my
sister Pugzelle and brothers Pablo and Chad. My mother believes
me to be around 5, although she cannot be 100% sure as I was
rescued.
Pugzelle and I enjoy car
rides, eating of course and get up to all sorts of Pug
Shennanigans!! Pugzelle is definitely the instigator of all
mischief, and although I occasionally do Pug Stuff, I am the more
civilized and quieter one. Pablo and I get on very well as long
as he does not come to investigate what is in my food bowl!
We have participated in two Pug Club of Gauteng shows and I got a Third
Place which I am very proud of. Pugzelle has been placed 2nd in
the Special Class category twice. We are both products of puppy
mills, so we have been neutered and spayed. We would like to see
the best health interests of our ancient breed continued so we
have never had puppies of our own. We are, nonetheless, lovely,
healthy and beautiful Puggies, even though I say so myself!!
Blush Blush. I am quite the Handsome Ham, don't you think? Pugs
are not s'posed to be modest, are they??
Peeple
get one thing wrong: Pugs are not mere "dogs" and then
there are even those who refer to us as "animals"! We
are extremely intelligent, have the latest hi-tech automatic food
detectors fitted and we can spot dangerous visitors, such as
garbage collectors, without getting off the couch! In fact, our
headquarters is on the couch and we operate from there. We are
not called "Couch Pugtatoes" for nothing!! The couch is
our office. We are astute enough to realise that luxury is more
important than anything else and we are able to discern and make
decisions very quickly. We can distinguish between luxury and
inferior quality easily. This pertains to sleeping arrangements,
tv viewing arrangements (preferably with snacks, of course),
outings to the more upmarket places being preferred, food quality
etc. In other words, we prefer the finer things life has to
offer. Always and without question! We all enjoy being pampered,
but we draw the line at the nail-clipping part and we are not too
happy when our nose rolls get cleaned. Our human has never dared
take us to a parlour as she is sure that they will not have us
back because we are very steadfast in our belief that pugs do not
need to have their nails clipped or nose rolls attended to!!
Well, to read more about our
Pugventures and Pugantics, please visit my sister, Pugzelle's Page and you can read about our
Pug Safaris and our other hobbies!
Please note that our mother
is a collector of Pug items, so if you have anything to swop or
sell, please be sure to add her to your mailing list!!
Thanks for visiting and
please enjoy all the photos of Moi, Monsieur Biscuit The Ham and
the other two African Pugs!! Incase you are wondering about our
lovely collars, they were made by the mother of some of our Pug
Pals in the USA.
