About Me:
Let's get started. My name is Christine and I reside in Dayton, Ohio. I officially got my start with horses back in 1985, when I went to ATI in Wooster, Ohio. ATI stands for Agricultural Technical Institute, which is a associated with OSU. (Ohio State University). My interest and love for horses has been instilled within me from the moment I looked or sat on a horse. From that point forward, I have been involved with horses. In August of 1986, I received my first horse from my mother, she believed that I would be a very dedicated horseperson. My first horse was an Arabian/Quarter Horse named Cool Wendy Breeze, (she had been an ex-barrel racer and cutter), who was 8 years old at that time. Wendy and I went on trail rides, both within Ohio and Indiana. Within a few years of owning Wendy, I decided that I would teach her how to jump. She seemed to enjoy jumping and we were able to clear 3' 7" jumps easily. She always seem to enjoy a challenge and no obstacle was to great for her. Wendy is now 22 years old today and is very much a part of my family. She gets to live out her wondrous years as a horse and a stable mate to the newest addition to the family. In 1996, I bought a four year Quarter Horse gelding named TMF Navajo Star. "Buddy" had been shown as a 2 year old at the All American Youth Show in Columbus, Ohio and placed 1st place in Short Stirrup Hunter walk, trot, canter and 4th & 6th place in Hunter pleasure & equitation walk, trot classes under previous ownership.

I am currently working with Buddy to slow down his gaits for Western Pleasure. As he grows older and gains new insight on what his "job" is, and eventually I would like to use him over fences. You can never get bored with horses, because as with anything, techniques and technology changes with each year.
As with future plans for myself, I am currently taking college courses working towards my major in Web Site Developer. My plans will be to develop web sites for horsemen & non-horsemen on both the personal & professional levels.
