MEET SPICE

I am a German Shepherd and was born on

10th December 1996

I am my MOM's pride and joy!! Since she was a small child, Mom had
wanted a German Shepherd. A neighbour owned one called "Silver",
but her parents could not afford to buy her a dog, or pay for it's upkeep.
Mom had to wait until she was fifty years old, and three sons
sons later, before she got me. My best friend is Ralph, and
 we are inseperable. I am a gentle giant, kind, faithfull, a one
person dog and very quiet, until someone comes to my door,
  gets too close to my Mom's car, if we are in it, or when I get to the
park for "walkies". I have to announce to everyone that I have
arrived, by barking and leaping around!! Then with my brothers and
sisters, especially Ralph, we have a great time, chasing squirrels
(which I am sure we will never catch) and birds, who for some
reason, always fly away, when we get close. Don't know why,
'cos we just want to say "Hello!!"

Mom says I am well worth her FORTY YEAR WAIT!!

Spice aged 10 weeks (January 1997) and Aged 7 months (July 1997)

I was bred by my Mom's friend Alison, who also rescues
German Shepherds, and lives in Leicestershire, England.
If ever we hear of anyone wanting a dog or puppy, we refer
them to her, knowing that the temperament of her dogs is superb.
(Got to be if she raised me for a few weeks!!!)
In the past two years, I have helped around ten
GSD rescues find new homes, together with fifteen puppies.
So if you live anywhere in the United Kingdom, and want to help
a German Shepherd find a new home or would like a puppy,
please EMAIL - but remember you need plenty of spare time
to devote to my breed, be prepared for lots of long walks,
and have a garden large enough to accomodate a dog of my size.
