Jackson At Home

Jackson and "siblings".

Last night when I
took out the trash
he sat at the gate
and whined the entire
time, how sweet is that!

We have been working on walking on a leash like a gentleman and he is doing very well (well of course except for the day we saw the rabbit). I'm teaching him basic commands and he seems to be catching on really well. When I get home from being gone he is like a puppy the way he hops around, all happy........ Chance and Jackson are getting along better each day,

My vet said his hair will take a while to grow all the way back, I hate that, cause people are afraid to touch him....

He followed me all the
way around the yard
while I mowed the lawn,
step by step, until I
was finished.

Tonight Jackson decided he didn't want to sleep on the floor on the dog bed and jumped up on my bed and Chance wasn't to happy about that! Before tonight he would just lay right down beside the bed on his bed and not make a sound, but tonight he looked at me and then jumped up there...like why should I sleep on the floor (dog bed or not) when no one else does??? It was pretty cute!

Mom, can I sleep in the
bed with you and Chance
and Cassie??

He's coming out of his shell more each day and getting more energy each day as he starts getting in better health. My vet said I should put about 8 pounds on him. He's way more playful but still not as hyper as Chance so its a nice combination.

Here at the house he loves to play with the toys, walks around with a big pink stuffed animal hanging out of his mouth..... He just walked up and put his head in my lap...what a sweetie!! I just love him bunches already.

Sincerely, Tina, Cassie, Chance, and Jackson
