Kyle and I will be enjoying our first day with my Mom in California. We're both really happy and excited about the trip. I hope to also be able to see my brother. I haven't seen him in about 5 years. He recently had a birthday, so we will be two years apart until October when I have my birthday. I would tease him about getting old, but I am older still so...

Tomorrow Odin gets home as does Erik. Hopefully his mini bootcamp will have a positive effect on his attitude. The weather has been really hot, so maybe the meanness was sweated out of him, at least for a little while. While I know that he is in good hands, I do miss him, but the house has been very quiet since he's been away.

Kyle and I need to get busy around here today and clean up for the homecomings tomorrow. We are about half packed. The old luggage has been deemed good enough for this trip, contrary to Kyle's better judgement. He had his eye on a 70.00 Ralph Lauren model when we went shopping the other day. He's been campaigning for a new suitcase for the last two years! One thing I'll say, he's got good taste!
