WAHOO BUCKAROO!!!! Only THREE, count 'em THREE more days til school begins!!!!

Did some shopping yesterday. Still have to take Erik for shoes and a hat. Kyle needs to choose a backpack. I buy them clothing throughout the year, so it's not such a huge thing when school begins. We will have lots of other things to spend on: yearbooks, PTSA, pictures, etc... Thank goodness the Elementary school is not doing another horrid fundraiser this year. They are just asking each family to contribute a minimum of 10.00 which is cool. I'd rather just write a check than feel pressured to buy stuff.

It's good to be home. I was greeted with lots of kisses and wiggles from my two adorable dogs. Ladybug went to the groomer and now she looks like a real cocker spaniel! While I was in CA, Odin really did a lot around here. He cleaned the house and hung Plantation blinds. He also removed a big stump from the front yard, then he and Erik planted some fall mums in there. Marine Corps colors of course. LOL. Erik's first football game is on the 6th. It looks like he will be starting on JV. He plays on the line, both sides of the ball. He finally got his game number: 55 I hope they have a winning season. Either way though I think it will be good experience for him. The Varsity is doing well. They've won their first two games.

So Odin and I are standing in the kitchen yesterday and we hear jets really low and close. Jets in this area are not unusual, but three together and low is a bit strange. So we look out the sliding glass door and see three Blue Angels. They are in town for the annual air show and were practicing. VERY COOL!!! I love me some Blue Angels.
