Groundhog Day

Yep, he saw his shadow, so they say six more weeks of winter.  Though we've had a very mild winter, I hope Spring is here soon.

Erik did it!! He was selected to the All City Band.  He's second chair Tenor Sax.  We're very excited and happy for him.   He had his cell phone confiscated yesterday so now I have to go to the school and retrieve it.  Blast!

Weather has been pretty chilly in the mornings and warming up in the afternoons to about 60, which is nice.  I think it is still too cold to plant much of anything, but my fingers are itching to dig in the dirt and put in some flowers.  The tulip and daffodil bulbs are coming up nicely.

We are looking forward to the Super Bowl this weekend.  Of course Odin & Erik will be rooting for the Seahawks, seeing as how the Steelers thrashed their beloved Broncos.  However I'm hoping that the Steelers win!  You know me,  I like the keep things stirred up.  Image

Guess that's all the news for now,

PAW
