I am feeling a bit better.  Very tired though.  I think the tiredness is the antibiotics doing their thing.  My throat does not hurt at all anymore, but my mouth and lips area very sore.  This is a side effect of the strong antibiotics.  Ugh.  Since I've been sick, I've been in bed and I've been watching a lot of TV.  Last night on A&E they had a special about child stars.  Very interesting and sad too.  I didn't see the whole thing but I found out something interesting.  Did you know that the little boy who played in Gentle Ben is Ron Howard (Opie, Richie Cunningham, movie director extraordinaire)'s brother?!  I had no idea.   This morning I watched "The Hours"  also on A&E. That was pretty good.  Dark, but very good.

Odin has been awesome about taking care of the boys and the house.  Today he's holding a field day on this place.  Both the boys are working away too.  I am doing the laundry and sorting some stuff to donate to charity.  We just have way too much CRAP!

The weather is cloudy--no rain though and we surely need that.  We are almost 6" below normal for this time of the year.  The shine drinkin' weather people keep saying it's going to get warmer, but so far it hasn't.

Not much else is new around here.  I did get an invitation to my friend Theresa's surprise 50th Birthday party.  Of course we are not going.  I think it's nice to be invited, but I found it a little depressing at the same time.

We are in the final stretch before my Mom arrives.  We are all so happy and excited for her visit.  By the time she arrives I will be finished with my meds and feeling great!!!  We are so looking forward to our big adventure in DC.  Yay!
