It was a fun trip, but there were some rough spots. Erik had a bad ear infection, which required a trip to the ER in Durango, CO. He's doing fine now after a round of antibiotics. I had hives. From what, I do not know. I've never had them before and I hope to never have them again. Then, on the way home I got some kind of stomach bug and spent three days throwing up. So, poor Odin had to do most of the driving. We got back to Virginia on New Year's Eve. I have never been so happy to be home in my life!

We had a nice, albeit very short visit with friends in California. We went there to check on our house and tenants. The house is fine, but we will be undergoing a change of tenants in the near future.

Guess that is all the news for now. I'm off to bed. We've welcomed in the New Year and I've had a couple of glasses of champagne. Nighty night and Happy 2007!
