Silver Agoutis:  These are the "Rolls Royce" (in my daughters ópinion) of the Agouti colours. 

Agouti animals show a characteristic banding of colour around each hair.  Except on the belly the hairs have a wide band of black or brown near the skin with a narrower band of red, cream or white on the tip.  The belly hairs have a narrow band of the black or brown and a wider band of the tip colour.

Silver Agouti:  Have a base colour of black with white tipping.   This gives the coat a metalic glow and depth. The ticking should be even and cover the entire animal with the exception of the belly.  The belly colour is an even silver colour and sharply defined. The ears and pads are black and the the eyes dark.

The Silver Agouti should be a large cobby animal with well developed shoulders. Large ears, drooping and well set and the eyes large and bold. 

The genetics of silver agouti is "A+ BB"  this is a Agouti factor on a Black.
