The National Capital Chesapeake Bay Retriever Club, Inc. is a non-profit organization which is licensed by the American Kennel Club (AKC) as a local specialty Club for Chesapeake Bay retrievers. We are based in Washington, DC. The NCCBRC is dedicated to promoting the Chesapeake Bay Retriever breed in its many aspects.

Membership Eligibility
After the applicant has attended 2 NCCBRC events,
a completed application form with sponsoring endorsements of two (2) members
in good standing must be submitted accompanied with the proper dues. The
application will be read at the first meeting of the NCCBRC following its
receipt and the applicant must be present. The applicant will then be voted
upon and an affirmative vote of two-thirds of those members present and
voting at the meeting will be required to elect the applicant.
