The Talking Eyes Kennels, reg'd FCI, was established in 1986 in Banjaluka, former Yugoslavia Republic of Bosnia - Herzegovina, where until 1991 Boris Pegan resided. At the time, his two well known Springers were Ch. Aga At The Talking Eyes, a liver and white dog. "Aga" was a Yugoslavian Champion, a Hungarian Club Winner 1989 and the Top Springer in former Yugoslavia in 1989 and 1990. His black and white daughter "Cassandra Sheepy The Talking Eyes" was the Top Sporting Dog in the former Yugoslavia in 1991. Unfortunately with only  two flights to the U.S.A. it was impossible to have "Sheepy" bred with the dog I wanted, so she never had a litter of puppies. In March of 1992 after two years of planning, we added our "Ch. Sieger's Charlotte Hornets," called Candy, to The Talking Eyes kennels. She was bred by Jessie and Kaj Madsen of famous Sieger Kennels in Denmark, the sire being an American import "Multi Ch. Multi BIS. BIS'S. Saxdalen's Expert Of Kirwin," the Top ESS in Europe All Times. The civil war in Bosnia Herzegovina started only one month later.  We moved to Zagreb, Croatia in April of 1992. Candy was  the Top Winning bitch and retired her European show career by  the age of two years. We have also owned, co-owned and shown a Top Winning English Cocker (red male) "Multi. Ch. Dan-L's Danfedder," bred and owned by Helle Dan Larsen in Denmark, and a Top Winning English Cocker bitch (blue roan) in Croatia "Amsterdam Junior Winner '89 Croatian Ch. C'est Si Bon Petite Jacqueline" and our well know Irish Water Spaniel bitch "Multi. Ch. Sieger's Bloody Mary." We also imported from Denmark to Croatia another Top Winning Springer, "BIS'S Multi. Ch. Fondante's Royal Flush" sired by "Multi. Ch. Coppergate Lambrusco ex. Multi. Ch. Mompesson Follow Folly," bred by Connie and Kjeld Buus. We've already established a great connection and dear friend in The United States with Kathryn Kirk of Kirwin Springers. Only the insane pursuasiveness of Kathy  could have dragged me here to my new home. With Kathy's help, Candy and I movd to The United States in July of 1994. In 1995, The Talking Eyes found its current home here in Sin City. In 1997 Jerry Pendleton became an invaluable partner to The Talking Eyes kennelOur goal is to breed Springers with balance, beauty and desire.
