| Ontario legislature passes BSL Bill 132
Serving the Rottweiler Breed in Canada since 1984! Serving the breed since 1984, the Sovereign Rottweiler Club is the 2nd oldest Rottweiler club in Canada! The Sovereign Rottweiler Club is a CODE OF ETHICS Club founded by people dedicated to the preservation of the breed. The club endorses the breeding of sound Rottweilers, free of hip/elbow dysplasia as determined by the O.V.C./O.F.A. and with no disqualifying faults as listed in the CKC Standard.
In addition to what is usually one of the largest specialty shows for Rottweilers in Canada, the SRC is host to sanction matches, breed seminars, obedience trials, Canine Good Citizen tests, an annual German-style Sieger Show, club Boosters, Owner education, referrals and much more in the province of Ontario. We were officialy given recognizance March 19, 1984, and the birth of the club began with the guidance of our charter members...now as we enter the new millennium, the club is a respected presence on the Canadian Rottweiler scene.
