This is Buffy my 1st and Gidget My 2nd Rat terriers
After looking long and hard for just the right dog. I came up with the Rat Terrier! They are just perfect. And have a great balance of energy, alertness, curiosity and very friendly with childen dogs, cats and people. They are exceptionally devoted to their family & smart. They love to do what ever you are doing. If that's sitting around and doing nothing or hiking , running, car rides any thing at all. If you get one be prepared to fall head over heels in love with them!!!! They have virtually no health probems.The one down side (if you can call it that) is every time you lay or sit down be prepared to be a dog bed.Hay their a lap dog
I fell in love with them so much I will be starting my own small Rat Terrier kennel .All of my breeding stock are our loving pets and are kept in our home. Right now I have 4 Rats Buffy, Gidget, Misty & Gizmo (3 girls and one boy). They are like potatoe chips, you can't just have one! The size of my Rat terriers are toy size and "A" body type. That's a dog with long legs and they are as long as they are tall. You could say box shape.
I live in the Sunshine State (Fla) I hope to have my 1st litter of puppys in Nov 2000. From Buffy my oldest they will be black and whites and tri's. Very small 6 lbs & under.
