Welcome to K-Koda Siberian Huskies I acquired my first Siberian Husky in 1973; that seems like a long time ago. I purchased him from a local breeder on Vancouver Island by the name of Claire Vipond. Her stock came from back east out of Racecrest kennels and she bred under the prefix of Tovar. Later, I met a wonderful woman named Maisy Morrow who at that time had a lot of Seppala dogs. She introduced me to sledding and through the years gave me a lot of information about Siberian Huskies. I later acquired a collection of material written by Jeffery Brag which I will always treasure. My goal is to breed sound, beautiful animals with great temperaments, whether it be somebody's pet, show or sled dog. K-Koda Kennels is located in Sexsmith, Alberta just outside of Grande Prairie. At present, we have nine dogs ranging from four months to ten and half years. We live on twenty-two acres which is fenced, of course, for the dogs. Let me introduce you to a few of the gang. |
