Photo Gallery.html Welcome to Snowball's Photo Gallery

This is Snowball, an American Eskimo Dog. The Eskie, as it is known to its friends, is a smart, sassy little dog. Snowball exemplifies the Eskie's nickname, "The Dog Beautiful". She has a wonderfully lush coat, which requires little care other than weekly brushing. Eskies are very smart, very loyal dogs. They are wonderful dogs, and insist on being part of the family's activities, even if it is just scrubbing the floor.

This is the position assumed when Snowball is ready to engage in a serious game of "Destroy the Sofa". The objectives are to destroy the demon sofa and annihilate the pillow monsters, while snorting, sneezing and drooling as much as possible. Most effective when said drool is wiped on any dry surface area until said sofa is fully saturated. This game works best when deployed with a room full of company. The game is often followed by rehydration, so that it may be repeated on all other furniture.

Snowball has her Christmas picture taken every year at the Humane Society. Half of the fee is donated to the humane society, so it is a nice way to get a picture and make a donation. Snowball does not like having her picture taken with Santa, and she snarls and fangs him every year. The photographer, Larry Johnson, miraculously, is able to distract her long enough from annoying Santa, to get a nice picture of her. Doesn't she look happy, relaxed and co-operative? NOT !!!

This is what I like to call Snowball's "glam shot". She looks so glamorous perched up on the arm of the sofa, where she shouldn't be, looking at the camera. I know she is thinking of some new way to ambush the kitties. Oh, yes, I forgot to tell you...Snowball lives with three cats. She likes them. She views them as ambulatory toys. She is always devising new, interesting ways of annoying them. Because Eskies have herding instincts, she tries to herd them into "Kitty Piles", which they are not too thrilled with.

This is us at the Happiest Dog Competition. This time, I'm the one on the left. Snowball, for her 1st prize placement, won a year's supply of dog food. However, she insisted on making me donate it to the Humane Society, who sponsored the show. I guess she remembers when she was there, and how frightened and lonely she was. She looked so lost and confused when I first saw her. She came up to me and sniffed my hand when I called her name, but, she turned away; I knew she was worried, and that she was waiting for her people who never came back. I guess she wanted to donate her prize to do a little something for all the other animals who are still there, waiting their turn for someone to love them.

Here is the face of the prettiest, funniest, best dog in the world......OK, I admit I'm a little prejudiced.......but, come on..........be honest, isn't she great?
