Comments: You have a wonderful idea here to get people to start adopting the pets that are already out there. I for one am a firm believer in that. My family adopts pets, and I learned to do that when I was younger. It's also important that they get neutered and spayed. Some people think thats cruel, but it's more cruel to have unwanted pets put to sleep! If you want to get a taste of reality go to the overcrowded shelters and I guarantee you'll get it! Comments: I think that your virtual pet adoption program has a lot of potential. I worked in an animal shelter and now just have many loving pets. Each one is special. We have four cats. Gizmo came from the shelter, Spunky, Tiffany, and Snickers were strays who found us. Patches and Ebby are our dogs, they were both gotten from owners who hadn't spayed their dogs and had puppies. Olive is our Iguana. We also have two Geckos, two finches, and the rest are fish - who are really low maintanance in comparison.
