When they picked me up I was dirty, I must of had 5 pounds of dirt in my coat. They give me two baths when they got me to my new home, and the water was still dirty. My coat was all full of matts, so many I don't have enough toes on my paws to count. Then they took me to the doctor, who checked me out and give me a clean bill of health. Then he gave me a bunch of shots, (ouch those hurt!) Last but not least they worked out something for flea control because I was scratching alot.
A few days after my doctor trip I went to a groomer who give me a good bath (boy did I smell pretty after that), then a hair cut. I was naked, but it sure felt good. That was two and a-half months ago, and slowly but surely my coat is growing back. Maybe someday I'll look like I was ment to.
