Pwincess Libbi is ready to GO!!! | |
Dreaming about the day's events. Zzzzzzzzzzzzz.... |
She did it again. The worthless she slave went and abandoned
me this past weekend and came back smelling like other bassets. Some of them I know! Some of them are new. At least my Aunt Teri came by in the morning, and when they returned. She
gives good pets and a few good cookies! (I kinda think she likes Woo a lot).
The she slave is off to Charleston. They tell a strange story
of riding a back road for hours, seeing Confederate flags flying, multiple pawn shops selling weapons, poker machines in the convenience store, where you can lose lots of nickels, but only win $125 and other strange sites. At least they found a petstore and got some food as a donation. They then went to a big plant place and looked for bassets. Fortunately they found Myrtle, who rolled on her back and got pets. Ahhh, normalcy.
They drove another 'Nickzillion' miles behind a nice pack of
hounds, to the hotel. It was on the water, which was good, ‘cause the bassets could go on the beach. The slaves smell like my buddies Sophia, Abby, BIG Augie, Leonard and Earl. They met many of my Southern friends. Fletch, you hound…I smelled you on them! Molly! Monroe! Aroooo!!
I have read with interest the posts of Da Moose. I hear his lengthy ears are beyond question the longest in The South and that he wares then in a lovely snood that matched his fur. The better not to twip over them. Miss Casey was his chaperone, preparing the GREAT ears for competition. WARNING CALVIN of SOMERS POINT! Moose is planning an appearance at the BoardWaddle next April for some head to head, errrr, ear to ear competition.
Ahhhh, the Pwincess Holly Noel was there in all her finery.
The she slaves were quite surprised that she bears a striking resemblance to 'Pwincess on Pwobation' Ashley. Her garb was stunning and she received cheers from the entire crowd. She kindly shared her divine buddy, Augie Notafoster. He allowed himself to be persuaded to waddle with my slave. OKAY, I hear that white box of steak and a few homemade baked cookies helped. He ran my slave ragged through the streets of Charleston. Augster even tolerated a scared puppy pooping on his back. What a good guy. That boy is going nowhere. He has a home with Auntie Renee and her two leggers.
Speaking of cheers. I heard the one for The Great Canadian
Sled Team all the way in NJ! Ethel can be very pwoud of her pupsters and their pack.
The infamous Bella made an appearance, along with Boss. He
sat out the waddle due to nasty drums that sounded like the city was going to fall. D*mn Yankees, oops, that was on the tour the slaves took. Bella was a frisky young girl who doesn’t deserve her wild reputation.
Visit the Love Hounds: The star of the show was the girl of Chef Zeke!
Pwincess Libbi!! She is a Babe. Full body wagger, charming personality, did the whole waddle, donned cwistmas attire, gorgeous if not Mooselike ears.. she won the Pledge contest!!! Go Libbi. She still found time to keep her he slave in pwactice picking up her chewies. A pwincess, a pwincess. The girl is really a
pwincess. The star….and I hear her slaves are tres wonderful!
The she slave smells vaguely like some my friend
humans…Uncle Poots and Aunt Melissa and Uncle Charlie and Gramma Jo! Auntie Kim and Uncle Kevin (who didn’t spring for the forma portrait of us together in Michigan, but I still LOVE him) and Auntie Sabrina (WHO SENY ME (us Feyfey) some dried sirloin. YUM!!). An Auntie Jeanne And Uncle Dave and Aunt Ann (WOO says thanks for the shirt! Woooo!) They all ate a bunch of meals together. At 10:00 on Sunday they Drool Chatted. The waitress musta thought they looked pretty silly typing at the table.
The she slave says that Greg and Sharon did a weally good
job and that she wished to thank them for all the FUN! For those of you in the Northeast…. Catch the spirit and go! Myrtle Beach isn’t that far… discount airfares…
As my slave says, her husband bought a computer, got her a
Basset Hound…and somehow she ended up in that back of a pickup truck, buried under a pile of other people’s hounds. Life is good.
Woofles, Feyfey
Sharon & Greg did and incredible job for the Charleston Waddle.
Imagine, a tour of the Magnolia Plantation (all fees waive), including a tram ride WITH Bassets, (I sat behind Cajun Fletch).
Picture a carriage ride through old downtown (discount price) and Bassets can join you in your carriage! Walking tour with Bassets walking too… Moonlight walks on the beach with a couple of dozen Bassets...
A perfect vacation – except my bassets were at home.
Melissa, Charlie and Joanne of MBR were kind enough to loan me Earl so I could sleep a little better (be he didn’t smell quite the same as Brendan, Calhoune or Tessie).
I enjoyed meeting y’all. (Da Moose has got the longest Ears I have ever seen!!!)
Three weekends: The BHRSC Waddle, Thanksgiving, Charleston (and a full-time job in between); I’ll never get caught up with my life!!
Sabrina (Brendan, Calhoune, Tessie)
