- SA unaffected at 8 years 10 months (Hargis) and registered with GDC [GDC9917SA106N12/03]
- Thyroid normal (Dodds), negative for Addison's (VHUP)
- No white/cream/apricot/red recessive per DNA (VetGen)

Boomer is 25" at the shoulder. He achieved his UKC Championship with three majors, shown exclusively in sporting trim. Boomer passes on his love of water and his natural retrieve to his kids, producing holding browns with dark eyes and sunny, stable dispositions. He won Best Stud Dog in Futurity at the William Penn Poodle Club Futurity in October 1997 and Best Stud Dog in Show at the William Penn Poodle Club Specialty in May 1999. At his 10th consecutive PCA in June 2003 he finished two agility titles with 2nd and 3rd placements, placed 1st and 4th in his obedience classes, and excelled, as always, in his perennial role as brown clown.
Flash! At the ripe old age of 13, Boomer is the first Champion standard Poodle to earn the AKC Rally Advanced Excellent (RAE) title! He was also the first Champion standard Poodle in AKC history to earn the RN, RA and RE titles. He's now officially retired from competition, but look for him in the Parade of Champions at PCA 2006.
