This is a -bad- photo of a painting showing Mr. Luman Reed.
The painting is exhibited at the great DeYoung Memorial Museum in San Francisco. Unfortunately I don't know, who painted it. (And I hope, I don't hurt any copyright or other laws by showing it on my website...)

Somehow, this painting *caught* me, and since the day I have been in this museum, I have tried to find out as much as possible about Mr.Reed.

In case you could give me any hint or further information about the painting itself or Mr.Reed, I would be extremely grateful.
