My Home Set-Up

The set up I have is a haphazard collection of jars and tanks. The jars vary from one quart canning jars to one gallon plastic storage jars. I also have a selection of one gallon triangle shaped tanks (above front left & right) and two gallon hexagonal shaped tanks (above rear, left and right). My breeders are usually placed in these one and two gallon tanks, but sometimes I run out of room doesn't everybody?) and they live in one gallon plastic jars as shown below.

These jars fill the shelves of bookcases and the floor in front of bookcases (above and below) ...

Two of my breeding tanks are on the kitchen counter. Also in the kitchen, not pictured, is a roll top desk that has space for up to 24 jars. I call it my overflow parking and is used when everything else gets full.

They also fill any spare place in the den.

Here I have two more spawning tanks. The 10 gallon (on right) and a five gal (on left). I also have a 2½ gallon tank next to 5 gallon.

I also have the brine shrimp hatchery in the den, on the window sill of an East facing window.

Once my babies get big enough, they move on to greater and better things ...

... to eat.
