Call'em what you want - parties, raves, club nights, some random kid's basement - it's all the same deal.  Music, kids, and vibe.  I've been in the scene since around 92, and have been to parties mainly in the midwest and now the east coast.

I'm a diehard jungle fan, but I'm trying to be more open-minded about house & techno  :)  My introduction to jungle was through Minneapolis' scene, which is heavy on the hardcore & jungle.  Recently I was in London for a month - for a jungle kid, it's like a trip to Mecca.  And now in Boston, I'm supporting the local djs (usually by driving their no-car-having selves all over town).
