Hi, this is Petrie's mom taking over for him.  My sweet lil Petrie has passed away, and
I'm going to leave up this page in dedication to him.  He was such a beautiful baby, and even though he was only with me for a short time, he is greatly missed.
I have one picture of him that I'm putting up. I know it isn't the best picture with all the water spots on the side of the tank, but it's the only one I have.
 

HI! I'm Petrie! I'm a tiny little baby map turtle. My carapace is still only about 1 3/4 inches long, but I'll get to be ten inches or so prolly. I haven't been with my mommy for too long. I am still very skittish around her and run whenever she comes near my tank and I'm on the rock basking. My roomate Gremlin is pretty cool. I try and ride his back when the current from the filter is too strong for me to swim against. It pushes me around a lot,so sometimes I don't have to make much effort to swim. I don't have any pics of me yet, but hopefully I will soon. I'm more of a greyish color compared to Gremlin who is green and yellow. But I have two bright yellow stripes on my head and a pretty design on my belly.

This is my baby, so sweet!
 

I named Petrie after a great Egyptologist. I'd like to get more information up here on him and will try to do so in the near future.
