T U M M I




Hey all. My name is Tummi, as in Tummi the Gummi Bear. I guess my name fits me pretty well 'cause I love to eat and I'm really big; not fat mind you, but just real big! My carapace measures about 10 inches in length now, and I am still a growing girl! Oh yeah, I am a yellow-bellied turtle and much to my dislike my mommy has shown people in the past the smiley face of spots on my belly. My mom purchased me in Montreal as a baby two years ago this past July. I was her first turtle, and I've heard her say I'm her favorite. But don't let the other turtles know that! I love to bask on top of my cave in the tank where Hamilton and I live. I'm a big bully when it comes to feeding time. I know I'm much bigger than lil Hammi and I make sure I get the food first! We get along ok I guess, but sometimes we have bitten each other.

Hamilton and I have had a new roomate for a while now - Gremlin.  He's ok I guess.  He seems to like me a lot, but I don't let him know I notice!

We're all updating our pages a bit and giving them a new look.  I've added a couple new pics for now.  Check them out!
