Isis's Page

Hello! My name is Isis, but sometimes my humans call me "Icy"--that's my nickname. When I was a kitten, I thought they were hissing at me when they called me by name. So they nicknamed me Icy. They named me after the Egyptian goddess. I am a beautiful blue/cream(dilute) tortoiseshell with a little bit of Siamese. I had 2 Siamese brothers. Meowmie thought they were so cute, but my human dad insisted that they get a girl kitty and he thought I was cute, too. So there I was, sleeping in the corner of the cage, minding my own business, and someone picks me up. Yay! I was off to a new home! I was adopted on May 20, 2000 when I was about 8 weeks old. And, like Nigel, I slept on the waterbed the first night too! But they don't have the waterbed anymore. I liked to poke holes in it on purpose just to watch the water drip out. I am fascinated with water, what can I say! My humans said they needed a new bed anyway, so I was happy to oblige in getting rid of the old one! I have a cool two-tone chin and the cutest paws(so my meowmie tells me). I have a lot of tortietude too! I like to chase after my two new sisters, Aphrodite and Kahlan and my little brother, Gimli. I just love my big cat-brother Nigel. He hissed at me at for a few hours, but he finally figured out that he'd better get over it and that I was here to stay. I think he was glad to have a new sister. He loves to play with me and he even grooms me, too! Here below are some pictures of me.

Guess what? A very catsome black kitty named Salem asked me to be his wink-wink on Valentine's Day! And I said Yes! He is very romantic. He even wrote a poem for me and made a page especially for us. I am the luckiest and happiest girl kitty in the world. And here he is!
