Our old girl "Tango" she came into our lives just a few months before her 9th birthday. If we didn't take her she was going to be distoryed due to her age and not being placeable. She was very underweight and needed a bath! We took her in and she is spayed we put the weight on it took sometime, but she is now a healthy 98 pounds and going strong that was 7 years ago. Yes you read it right,her birthday is 12/23/82. She is a bit slow on real cold mornings, but she plays and acts like a dog much younger. See want a little TLC can do. So if you are considering adopting a Rottweiler through rescue, do be afraid to give a wonderful older dog a warm loving home, with TLC they may have many years of love and happiness to give! |
