Welcome to Katie and Barklie's Webpages.

This website is dedicated to our furbabies; Katie, a 6 and 1/2 year old purebred, female, spayed Beagle and Barklie, a 5 and 1/2 year old male, neutered Boxer.

We were a little concerned how things would go when adding a new member to the family.  We purchased Katie from a breeder when she was 8 weeks old.  We wanted to try something new this time so we spent months searching locally and online for the perfect Boxer to complete our family.  Some concerns were:  adopting a Boxer who needed a 2nd chance at life, adopting a Boxer who would have several years ahead to spend with us but . . wasn't an 8 week old puppy and making sure Katie would feel safe in her home.  Eventually we met Barklie, he wasn't exactly what we had in mind but his personality drew us in.  While we still have problems occasionally we don't know what we'd do without him.

Here are Joe, Katie and Barklie bonding.  I think this is the best picture I have of the three of them so far.  Hopefully more will be coming.
